Happy Mother's Day
This will officially be my first Mother's Day! Last year at this time I was a mother-to-be, and that's something to celebrate too. But as exciting and joyful as it was to be expecting (and it certainly was), it in no way compares to the joy Caden brings to me now that he is here with me. Now I truly understand what it means to be a mother. And I know that my understanding will grow and mature as Caden does.
Sometimes I find myself just staring at him in awe, and asking myself how it is possible to love him so much! So on this Mother's Day I have compiled another list of things I love about Caden (at 6 months).
1. His little lion roar.
2. They way his giggle box gets turned on and everything becomes funny.
3. The way he rocks back and forth on his knees.
4. The way he sleeps on his tummy with his bottom in the air.
5. How he splashes the water with his feet and hands during bath time.
6. The way he talks non-stop as if he is carrying on a conversation.
7. The way he makes little sounds the whole time he is eating baby food (especially when he eats peas or bananas).
8. How he continously closes the top to his toy laptop as if he is annoyed that you keep opening it.
9. The way he travels to his toys by rolling and scooting.
10. How he falls asleep when I take him for a ride in the bike buggy.
11. He loves to go shopping. He has a great time being pushed around the store.
12. He's a little flirt. He knows how to put on the charm when he's getting attention from an admirer.
13. He puts a smile on my face and a song in my heart.

He is so precious! I love the sleeping picture; he looks like an angel. He is a lucky boy!
